Make Art Not War (Fine Art Print)
Make Art Not War (Fine Art Print)
This artwork is inspired by the mantra "Make Art Not War", during the Iraq War. The mantra is an alternative phrase inspired by popular 1960s anti-war mantra, “Make love, not war.” The artwork is an image of a woman wearing a decorated army helmet with pencils tucked into the band instead of bullets along with a small "Make Art Not War" card. The backdrop colors are a symbolic message of surrendering to peace, the colors in the blue sky, the partial white face and the white daisies.
Every limited-edition print will include the handwritten title, print number 1 through 150, and the artist’s signature. The fine art archival pigment print will be on high quality art paper. All prints will have a 0.5-inch border around the image.
